We use industrial hemp extract that is rich in phytocannabinoids such as cannabidiol (CBD), terpenes, fatty acids, and other naturally-occurring micronutrients, all of which enable it to deliver a full-spectrum effect. It has non-detectable levels of THC and has been thoroughly lab tested to screen for pesticides, solvents, and other contaminants.
Full-Spectrum vs Broad-Spectrum Hemp Extract: What's the Difference?
The terms ‘full-spectrum’ and ‘broad-spectrum’ might sound similar. However, there is a considerable difference between the CBD products that are covered by each.
When the resin that’s been extracted from hemp contains all the cannabinoids and compounds naturally found in the hemp plant, it’s called full-spectrum hemp extract. Full-spectrum hemp extract can contain up to 120 cannabinoids. One of these is cannabidiol (CBD).
Full-spectrum hemp extract may also contain a wide range of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, proteins, and fatty acids.
Broad-spectrum hemp extract, on the other hand, offers the benefits of its full-spectrum counterpart without the slightest trace of THC. While it is being processed, extractors filter out all its THC content using analytical processes such as chromatography.
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a phytocannabinoid, a type of compound found in agricultural hemp and other varieties of the cannabis plant. It is used to make products that are commonly used by people to supplement their health and wellness routines. It is one of the 120 cannabinoids identified till date that can be found in the Hemp plant (Cannabis Sativa). CBD can be used in a number of ways, including through oral consumption as tinctures and capsules, and through topical application in the form of a balm.
